Paper Illusions wallpaper is such an amazing product! You can create the appearance of tile by cutting various colors of the same illusion into precise shapes as opposed to just randomly tearing the paper illusions wallpaper into irregular pieces. Whether you want to cover a tabletop, embellish a picture frame, create a mural accent or disguise an old linoleum floor, you can easily give the appearance of tile at a fraction of the cost for the real thing.
With the paper being prepasted, it’s ridiculously easy to adhere the pieces. Just dip the cut pieces into water and apply it to your primed surface…you can be precise with your application or haphazard, whatever suits your fancy.
Here’s a creative project I found over a year ago…
Faux Tile Flooring using Paper Illusions Wallpaper
Liza Glenn of Plaid Enterprises demonstrated an easy way to disguise an old linoleum floor using a new product called PaperIllusion from the show Pretty in Paint.
