Paper It Fun!

How do you like the pictures at the top of this page? These are just a small sample of what we have in our Paper Illusions Photo Gallery. I can sit here and tell you how stunning the results can be when you use Paper Illusions wallpaper, but unless you see it for yourself, you may not believe me.

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words and our subscribers have so graciously shared their Paper Illusion projects with us to show you the kind of amazing results you can have using this product. While some of these pictures are stock photos provided by the makers of this product (the one pictured here), the majority of the photos in the gallery are taken by regular people like you and me (non-professional photographers) in natural indoor lighting, and they have not been touched up. What you see is what you get. And still, it’s amazing-looking, isn’t it?

Most, if not all of the pictures in the gallery are clickable to enlarge. Check them out. See for yourself the kind of effect the overlapping method of the torn pieces has. To hear someone talk about faux-finishing, I was never worked up over the decorating idea. But when I saw the finished product, dried on the wall, I thought, that’s pretty cool. Then I saw an actual demonstration of how easy it was to do, and I thought, you’ve gotta be kidding me…even I can do that!

You have to understand I was an accountant prior to having my kids. I am very detail-oriented…it’s just in my nature, and the thought of creating something like a faux finish effect freaks me out. What if I do it wrong? The GOOD NEWS is you can’t do it wrong with Paper Illusion. And looking at these pictures just reinforces that if these regular people like me (non-decorator types) can do this and yield such classy & stunning results, surely you can do it too! Pictures inspire me, and I know these pictures will inspire you too.
